I thought it would be a good time for another Macro Monday. I’m taking you back to the sunflower field today. It’s amazing that a sunflower field can tell you so much about life and today, it’s about infancy. I think the early stages of sunflower growth are my favorite. There is a reddish hue to the sunflowers during this stage and if you look closely enough at the yellow petals you can see that hue. This particular sunflower bud was just starting to open up. The sunshine on this day just highlighted the back of the flower while the green leaves still kept the delicate center protected. In a day or two, this sunflower was going to burst wide open into its full glory.
Have a great week everyone!
