Inara – 10 Months

Inara is now 10 months and so full of joy!  You can’t help but smile when you are around her. She’s crawling now and always on the go. It’s not going to be long before she’s walking. She was such fun to be around always smiling and laughing and it was nice to be able to capture her with some of the fall colors. Pami and Peter thanks again for the opportunity to capture your precious daughter and family.

Sneak Peek: Inara at 10 Months

I had a wonderful photo session with Inara this weekend.  She’s now 10 months old and full of joy! She’ll soon be walking, but it’s enough work just to keep up with her crawling around.
Thanks for a fun time!

Joseph Charles | Denver Newborn Photography

John and Kaylee just had a new baby boy.  His name is Joseph Charles.  I was greeted with a warm welcome into their home and spent a wonderful morning getting to know Joseph.  I can tell already that he’s going to be a charmer. It was a fantastic session and Joseph was even able to give me a great smile! The family is not complete with out Lela, their wonderful boxer.  Lela was able to give me a big smile as well! Congratulations, John and Kaylee and welcome to this world and a great home, Joseph!

Matt and Nate – 1 Year Old – Sneak Peek

Matt and Nate are turning 1 Year Old!  How time flies!  It seemed like yesterday that we had their birth photos and now they are almost walking.  The twins are full of energy and still just as cute as the day they were born, except a little harder to catch these days.  Here’s a quick sneak peek of their 1 Year Old Photo session.

I’m posting a quick sneak peek of the photo session. It’s one of those special images and shows a mother’s unconditional love for their child.

John and Kaylee, thanks for sharing this beautiful child with me. Welcome to this world, Joseph!

A Departure for Independence

You were probably expecting me to post some pictures of fireworks today.  If you are a fan of my Facebook Page, the you probably saw some behind the scenes video of the some fireworks.  Today, however I felt I should share a quick story.

This weekend I took pictures for a friend, Keith, a Captain in the U.S. Army who just became a father to two twin boys born on Father’s day two weeks ago.  What a great Father’s Day present!  His son’s Matt and Nate came a little prematurely so they were in the hospital for a few days before they could come home and they currently are still on oxygen.  So welcome to the world, Matt and Nate.  They are currently around 4 lbs. and 5 lbs. and growing quick.  They are so precious!

President Obama just announced that he was going to start bringing the troops back home from Afghanistan.  That’s great news and while you hear that troops are returning back from Afghanistan, Keith is deploying to Afghanistan today, July 4th…Independence Day.  This is a day when Father’s are home with their families, BBQing, eating watermelon, and then out watching the fireworks in the evening.  It’s not the day you leave to go overseas, not a day you leave your family behind, especially when you just had two new twin boys.

I couldn’t imagine leaving behind a beautiful wife and these two precious boys, especially since God gave him this gift only two weeks ago.  I admire Keith for moving forward and protecting this country that we live in.  I salute him today, this Independence day.  Thank you for making this country safe and allowing us to keep our Independence.  Taking some pictures of your new boys is the least I could do for your sacrifice.

May God protect you why you are overseas defending our country and we look forward to having you make this a short duty in Afghanistan.  I also pray that God protect your new family while you are gone.  Take care and I’ll see you when you return.

Join me in saluting Keith and all the soldiers going in foreign countries to protect our county today, our Independence Day and welcome to the Matt and Nate!
