]]> This is the Flatiron Building in New York City.  It was one of the first sky scrapers in New York City and iconic due to the triangular shape of the building.  It’s a steel-framed building clad with white terra-cotta.   It looks like the hull of a ship plowing through the water and at the apex of the building is only six ft. wide.  It was uniquely fit into a plot of land at the intersection of Broadway and 5th Avenue.

There is a great view of the Flatiron Building from the Madison Square Park.  If you visit Madison Square Park, there is a fantastic burger place, called the Shake Shack.  They have an awesome “Orange Creamsicle” shake called the Vitamin Shake and if you are vegetarian, the ‘Shroom Burger is awesome!

Photographer’s, this is my first HDR!  I can’t believe it.  I used Nik Software’s HDR Efex Pro to process this image and then ran it through with Color Efex Pro 4 and then Viveza 2 to bring out details and highlight certain areas. Overall I’m very happy with the results allowing me to bring out the details of the building.
