I can’t believe it’s already August. Fall is just around the corner and I am looking forward to the September and October photo tours coming up here in Colorado and for people to experience the Colorado Fall Colors. This image is from last fall from one of my favorite places in the San Juan Mountains. It’s called Last Dollar Road and is a dirt road through ranch land between Ridgway and Telluride. It takes you through some of the most scenic landscapes made famous by movies such as True Grit starring John Wayne.
If you are thinking about coming out to see the Colorado Fall Colors, now is the time to book a photo tour and to schedule hotel rooms for Colorado Fall Colors and or Fall rut for Elk. I have a few openings left and would love to show you around Colorado. It’s one of my favorite times of the year. Contact me for more information and to see if we can fit in a photography tour for you this next month.
- I used my telephoto lens for this image to give the trees and the road some compression and to make it all seem a little closer together.
