Crowfoot Glacier

Welcome to the Bow Valley in the Canadian Rockies!  This was the first day with some clouds in the sky during my trip and created a nice sunrise here at Crowfoot Glacier.  The glacier was named after its three lobes, but as you can see one of the lobes has now disappeared.  It was still a spectacular scene and a great way to start a day in Banff National Park.

I’m heading to Jackson, Wyoming tonight and hopefully the fall colors have started in Grand Teton National Park.  I just haven’t had the time with my travel to get some content published so my blog will be silent for a few days.  I hope you understand.  I still have quite a few pictures to process from Banff and from this past weekend in the Black Canyon of the Gunnison.  Have a great weekend and hopefully you can get out and start enjoying the fall season around you.
