Cypress Sunset

Last week I had a quick change of plans and ended up on the west coast instead of the east coast.  I was hoping to spend some time in New York during the holidays, but I can’t complain about being in a warmer climate last week.  I thought this week I’d share some of that warmth with my followers.  I wish I could bring the warmth to you, but I can’t so I’ll bring the warmth to you in pictures.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Monterrey Peninsula and was able to take a quick afternoon trip down to Carmel Beach.  Carmel is the home of some Clint Eastwood and Pebble Beach Golf Course and some of the most amazing coastline I’ve ever seen!  Carmel beach was a soft white sand and let’s just say the sunset that everyone told me about did not disappoint.  I captured this scene as I was walking back up from the beach.  There were cypress trees up and down the coast and just seemed to be placed strategically to make for a perfect landscape.  I don’t think I could ever get tired of looking at sunsets here in Carmel.
