It’s another Fall Friday! Continuing on my theme of Aspens this week I’m bringing you into another grove of aspens. This one a little less densely populated, but still magnificent. This grove is located in the town of Como, Colorado. It the gateway town to Boreas Pass where I showed you Mt. Silverheels last week. This grove is actually in Como’s town cemetery. When you walk into the grove, there are cemetery plots and head stones. You almost feel as if you are in a room with people standing around you. It’s eerily quiet even during the day. All you can hear is the wind blowing the leaves and you just get this sense of stillness in the air. So much history is encompassed in this place. There are marble headstones from the 1880’s. True pioneers of the land.
