Fall in the Grand Tetons

Have you had enough of the fall colors?  I haven’t.  Colors in town are just now starting to change and so over the next couple of weeks I hope to capture some more in town photos of the fall color changes.  Today I’m bringing you up to Grand Teton National Park.  I was a few weeks early in the Grand Tetons for fall colors, but by the weekend the cold temperatures at night accelerated the color changing while I was there.  By Sunday certain stands of Aspens were showing their bright fall colors!  This stand of aspen happened to be right in front of Grand Teton Mountain Range which made for a great scene.

Have a great weekend.  Hope you get out and enjoy what’s left of the fall colors!

Capture Notes:

  • This is great, man. Love that splash of colour – and what an epic location!

  • I love how the trees follow the mountain lines. This is such a pretty setting. You continuously make me envious man!

  • Such a spectacular location Rick and beautiful range of colors!

  • Beautiful Rick. I love how you’ve framed the trees against the mountains.

  • Beautiful shot. Great colors.

  • The layers of interest in this shot are just perfect. The field, the trees, the peaks, the sky. Wonderful man!

  • This is a great shot, the tree line ‘echoes’ the peaks, and that is a wonderful sky too.
I’m so jealous of you guys on the other side of the pond – wish we had colors like this in the UK. Before I get too old I really must get my act together and fly over one time to catch the Fall.

  • Beautiful vivid colours in this image. Perfectly framed too.
