Fury Road – The River Road, Pt. 3

I noticed this road just off of The River Road in the Castle Valley area you could see the Fisher Towers in the distance. I’m a sucker for a wide open road and there is just something compelling about capturing it on “film”. This at first seemed like a nice southwest scene, but then as I was setting up for the shot the clouds started to accumulate in an angry fashion. It just struck me as a scene from a Mad Max Film. If you never scene a Mad Max movie, its futuristic movie about the breakdown of society, murder, vengeance; kind of post-apocalyptic fiction. Anyway, there are rumors that they are scouting for locations for the 4th installment of the series which will be called Fury Road, so I thought I would name it after the 4th installment of the Mad Max series. It was just fitting that I processed this in B&W. Would love to hear your thoughts.
