Hedrick Pond Overlook

I’m traveling again this week so I’m queuing up some content for the week.  If I’m delayed in getting a response to you I’ll do so as soon as I can.

One of my favorite place in Grand Teton National Park is Hedrick Pond Overlook.  There are spectacular views of the Teton Mountain range and the valley below.  The view in the fall adds the colors of gold, yellow, orange in contrast to the blue of the pond and the mountains.  I think I could have sat in this location all day!  Here’s a view of the area earlier in the summer from my image Smoke Signals.

  • Excellent composition Rick. The surrounding countryside makes a wonderful contrast to the rugged mountains.

  • Never been there, but it has become my favorite place too. Nice work!

  • What a great scene you’ve capture, Rick. Awesome work, man.

  • This is the third or fourth of the Tetons I’ve seen in your blog and they are all superb views. I think this is my favourite – the foreground is the perfect foil to that sweep of mountains. The contrast works really well.

  • What a truly amazing image, Rick!

  • Amazing shot Rick! What a grand scene! Awesome job!

  • Simply stunning Rick. Just incredible.

  • amazing shoot, rly nice colors
