I had some time this evening to process some more photos so I’m taking you back to Banff. I still have quite a bit of content from Banff and I’m not sure when I’ll get through it all, but I thought I would continue the journey down along the Bow Valley.
The morning started with a spectacular sunrise at Crowfoot Glacier in the Bow Valley Range. A quick drive down from the Icefields Parkway was Herbert Lake. Herbert Lake right after sunrise with the warm golden glow of the morning rays creates this glass like mirror reflection. It’s surrounded by a forest of trees and along the banks has some nice fallen timbers giving some wonderful foreground elements. This photo is from the shore of the lake with a fantastic reflection of the Bow Range.
