Majestic Teton

The most amazing thing about Grand Teton is that the mountain just seems to go straight up from the open prairie.  It is just so majestic jutting straight up.  The early settlers said it looked like shark teeth and you can see the resemblance in this image.  This particular scene struck my eye with the differences in landscape in once scene, willow flats, a mound of fall colors and the majestic Teton Mountain range in the back.  If you have never been to Grand Teton National Park you need to put it on your bucket list of places to visit.  It’s one of those places I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of visiting and plan on making a trip back in the very near future.

  • That’s certainly majestic, Rick. The contrast with the foreground adds a lot and the way the foreground echoes the curve of the Tetons is a bonus. Clever POV
