Surviving Color

The Front Range of Colorado got hit pretty hard with a snow storm this past Friday. We had about 18″ total, but I know of others that received upwards of 33″ from the storm. The warm weather came back about mid day Saturday and is already starting to melt the snow.

I thought I would share a macro I captured this weekend from the storm. It’s one of the marigolds that has wilted over the winter months, but still had enough color and length to stand up above the snow. Just one of the small details from the snow storm.

I’m feeling a little under the weather this week so I’m going to apologize up front if I miss some posts this week. I think with this cold weather some rest and chicken soup will probably do me good.  Have a great week!
