The Brooklyn Bridge

Today I thought I would share with you the pedestrian walkway on the Brooklyn Bridge. The walkway is wooden planks for both bikes and pedestrians. It’s truly something you have to walk down once to understand the uniqueness and beauty of being able to walk down the center of one of the oldest suspension bridges in the U.S. as cars are passing under you on both sides of the bridge. The suspension webbing is truly unique leading up to a center tower with the American Flag waving in the wind and the Manhattan skyline as a backdrop to the bridge.

Have a great weekend!
