The River Road Pt. 2

I think one of the most amazing things about the scenery along the River Road is the textures along this narrow Red Rock Canyon Country. The narrow canyon part of the River Road is the back side of Arches National Park and you can see some of the towers and buttes of the park from this road. The steep red gravel looks like scenes out of a western movie and of course many there have been many movies filmed in this area. This scene is one that I though captured the American South West with the rich red dirt with sage brush leading up to fabulous buttes and vistas.

  • Another fantastic shot. Love those little bushes in the foreground. You were lucky to have such awesome clouds! Nice work.

  • Excellent!
That butte in the background reminds me of one of those western movies. LOL

The clouds seem to be fanning out perfectly with the terrain below. Nice one!

  • Great perspective. I love the way the sky seems to fan out with the clouds. Gorgeous shot.

  • WOW! Awesome blues here man! That sky is perfect!

  • Love that sky Rick! Awesome shot!

  • Man, this brings back memories. Used to go out to Red Rock with my dad 3-4 times a year. Always such a cool and amazing place. Although you could get lost pretty easy there 🙁
