Happy New Year! I hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday. I took a few days to unwind, spend some time with family and jot down some goals for the new year. I’m looking forward to a fresh start fo the new year not only for my photography but also for myself.
I had seen many of the iconic shots of Turret Arch and driving to this location at sunset I was originally in quest for one of the iconic shots. As I was driving in I noticed the landscape and the La Sal Mountains behind the famous arch and decided to capture the famous Turret Arch in a broad perspective. The setting sun’s winter glow illuminated the red rocks and the mountains surrounding the landmark giving it a warm feeling on this crisp winter’s day.
News and Happenings:
I thought I would share some news that occurred around year-end.
My Denver Skyline image made it into a store display over the holidays! It was pretty exciting to see it on display at the mall. Those of you in Colorado, there will be more of my images available now at all American Furniture Warehouse Stores. My “Blue Sky over the Queen City” and “Sunrise at Mesa Arch” canvas prints will now be in stores to pickup.
A photo session I did for Al Woodward appeared in the December/January Edition of Colorado Expression Magazine. I was pretty excited to see this publication finally publish.
Finally I was excited to hear that my “Two Bisons in Grand Teton National Park” image will be in next year’s Wyoming Traveler’s Journal.
