I’m changing it up this week and doing something a bit different. I recently went down on a photo walk in downtown Denver and decided that I just wanted to use my 50mm Prime lens. I wanted to challenge myself and see if I could frame shots using just that lens. It was difficult at first, but then I started to get my muse. I got in a theme. The theme is called Republic Reflective and I wanted to see all the different places I could frame and use the reflection of Republic Plaza in my photos. I didn’t want any direct images of Republic Plaza, just reflections of the building. I’m pretty happy with the result of that morning and I hope you enjoy this reflection back on Republic Plaza in downtown Denver.
The first shot is a white reflection of Republic Plaza off of 1700 Broadway sky rise. I was intrigued by this shot because there were so many lines interacting. There were lines from 1700 Broadway Cris-crossing and interacting with the stark white lines from Republic Plaza.
