Today I thought I would share with you a close up of one of these beautiful sunflowers so I opened up my telephoto lens wide open to and took a close-up of this wonderful flower. The sharp prickly center texture with the delicate yellow petals with an orange hue creates what I call “petals of fire”. These sunflowers bloom and are gone with in a couple of weeks. I went by this first field last night and the flowers are already starting to wilt. Luckily there is another couple of fields further north-east which will in full bloom by this weekend. I’m really enjoying this sunflower season. I hope my vision for these flowers are coming through and you are enjoying these as well. If you are here in Colorado, I’m heading out again this evening. Send me email, tweet me, or G+ me and I’ll let you know where we are meeting tonight so you can see these for yourself. If you are outside of Denver, hopefully you are enjoying the sunflowers through my blog.
